Possible side effects vary according to the area treated, the length of treatment, the amount of hair removed, and the clients own healing ability.  Some degree of brief redness and swelling is expected immediately following the treatment.   When done by a skilled electrologist and when simple home care instructions are followed, electrolysis is safe and permanent, even for clients with delicate skin.
